€1.5m to be pocketed in 2010!

Dublin Bus announces that it has no effective way of returning cash rightfully owned by their customers unless they call in personally to request it. Now we know there are valid reasons for the 'exact fare only' policy but that does not excuse the fact that €1.5m in 2010 will be pocketed by a taxpayer funded organisation for no other reason that the process is too cumbersome for the customer to go through. 75% of all refunds go unclaimed so the process is clearly next to useless for consumers and needs to be changed.
